Also he should post the photos right side up.

Jim,

The rough track surface and record laps times don't correlate. How can the track surface be rough and still go fast.

Your not making up excuses are you?

Dave, Go here: http://cdn.growassets.net/user_files/scca/downloads/000/019/858/GCR-_Updated_March_2017.pdf?1488505873 It's in a PDF format. Jeff, I hope that you are right and I do want to see this class grow. However, the issues stated in my previous post above were told to me by multiple F6 drivers and several interested outsiders so they truly do exist. I just asked one of the MC drivers again whether he will run the Majors next yea...

I don't know why they are saying that. May be it's because that's how they make their money.

Does it have the external cross over tubes?

Even if it has internal cross-over openings, replacing the associated O-rings should not be a problem.

Good luck

Nice looking cars. Not clear if the price is for both or each. Also don't see any bodywork on the second car.

Looking at the class designation on the side of the car, I would guess that these cars haven't seen a race track for some time.

This car would not be legal for road racing with that body. I also doubt that the roll bars have been updated.

Interesting that somebody put a lot of work into such an older car.

Re: Bought a Basket Case - No graphics, just tape

It would appear that the main roll hoop has been designed to be bolted in. Don't know why the previous owner did that. However that type of main hoop installation is not what is currently being done. I would seriously recommend that you remove the bolt on parts and weld the main hoop to the bottom r...

Re: MC powered cars dominating Runoffs @ Daytona...???

The following is my fear for the future of this class: My sources tell me that this 593 adjustment is being evaluated as we speak so it is a current topic. BTW, I know of several 2 stroke drivers (not the top drivers) who have installed 593's, bought a pipe (not a 493 pipe by the looks of them) and...

Do you know if Bob had any dyno data with the 34mm carbs.

The only way to know what you are missing or gaining with the 34mm vs the 38's is to do some dyno work. Cost money thought.

One never knows. Bigger isn't always better. Most, if not all, of the 494's are using 38mm carbs. It is interesting that your car has 34mm. (question - are you sure that they are 34 and not 36)

Did the previous owner run it with the 34's?

Re: For The CVT Haters

I have been involved in this class for over 30 years pretty much without a break. I got in the class in 1984 while trying to figure out how to go racing on essentially a zero $$ budget. And for CERTAIN F440-F500 offers that pretty much as good or better than nearly any other class in the SCCA. Good...
