F600 Challenge: Points Standings after Mid-Ohio

Postby Jim Murphy » Thu Jun 07, 2018 11:01 am

With Mid-Ohio Super Tour in the books, here are the series points standings:

1. Clint McMahan 24
2. Eric McRee 22
3. Sven DeVries 20
4. Jeff DeLong 18
5. Zak Morvik 16
6. Aaron Ellis 14
7. David Lapham 13
8. Calvin Stewart 12
9. Mo Makki 0

With Clint McMahan not running the next two races – the June Sprints and Blackhawk Farms – the points series lead will be changing. It will be interesting to see who is #1 after these two races.

We are very thankful for our valued sponsors who have made this series possible:

Metalloid Corporation of Sturgis, Michigan (http://www.metalloidcorp.com )
Shrieve Chemical Products of Houston, Texas ( http://www.shrieve.com )
Hoosier Racing Tire ( http://www.hoosiertire.com )

The Formula 600 Challenge series was developed to help promote an affordable open wheel formula car series to showcase talent without large financial race budgets. There are no paid staffers and one hundred percent of all sponsorship monies and product goes directly to the drivers in our series mostly as a tow fund payment for each race. The Formula 600 open wheel cars use a 600cc motorcycle engine and a 6-speed sequential transmission revving up to 15,000 rpm with speeds in excess of 140 mph. The sound of this drive train is likened to a F1 car.
